Fall Colors

It's been a while since I've updated this. This past month has been one thing after another and I've just not had the time. Today I finally had some free time and took a ride on the bike down to Stockholm for my favorite breakfast of french toast. If you haven't been to Bogus Creek restaurant in Stockholm, you should try it sometime. They make the best french toast ever. Of course this is coming from someone who treats maple syrup as a beverage. In any case all their food is great and this time of year it's a magnificent view getting there down the great river road...especially on the Harley.

Regarding the reunion in Ely with the old trio. We had a special treat. I've known Bill Bulinski since my college days back in the sixties. Bill had a band called the Electras back around 1964-65. Bill has played all over the upper Midwest, and currently plays with a group in Chicago and one in Minneapolis. He still lives in Ely though and the night of our little reunion, he came over and played bass for us the whole night. It was great to see him again and great to hear him play again. The following weekend he, along with The Electras, were inducted into the Upper Midwest rock and roll hall of fame. Way to go Bill!!!
